Mr Cooley has a way with visceral imagery and detail. I was drawn into this story more than expected, and it provided a nice entrance into the world of the full-length GUNS OF RIDGEWOOD. Engaging characters, interesting settings, and believable action made for a great read.Product details

The Young & the Dead is a thrilling gateway to a new character from Aaron Cooley that is interesting and exciting to follow. Not only is this story addicting, but it is written so well that you will find yourself getting lost in the descriptive and thrilling journey of Sour Manco without noticing the time go by. Fortunately, this is only the beginning of an even more thrilling story that continues on in The Guns of Ridgewood. Cooley is definitely an indie author to keep your eye on this year and Sour Manco is a character you will want to follow all the way through.
I enjoy reading. But when a book comes with a third of the pages missing its discouraging. Hopefully it will get figured out so I can give it a true rating
